The Double Smoke BBQ is a "slow cooked food fast" restaurant concept where quality, time, and love are our three main ingredients. Double Smoke BBQ is a unique concept that will offer "Traditional Bar-B-Que and Contemporary Vegan-Que™ Under One Roof" which will create a dining experience where no one has to settle or compromise.
The restaurant is named Double Smoke BBQ because all our main entrée items will be smoked twice; the initial smoke done with oak wood and the second smoke is cherry wood. The process also includes each item being completely cooled down between smoking. Yes, it takes extra time but it's the time and care that will go into our product that will make it better than any sit-down barbecue restaurant.
Our menu will be small, just six choices on the bar-b-que menu with matching items on the vegan-que™ side which will allow us to stay focused on ensuring what we serve is the best it can be. All our ingredients will be fresh and we pride ourselves on the fact that there will be no walk-in freezer present in our restaurant.
No matter if you will be eating in or taking a meal to go we want to make sure you get a great meal at a fair price fast, but never rushed.
Our Founder and CEO is an award winning Certified Executive Chef who understands not only the art, but also the science behind good barbecue as well as vegetarian/vegan cooking. He has a Bachelors Degree in Culinary Management & his knowledge, passion, and love for barbecue began over 14 years ago. He understands the chemistry of the cuisine which is how he is able to create amazing barbecue for both meat eaters and non-meat eaters alike.
